First, I used to have no patience or love for the people around me, but over time, I began to genuinely love them. I couldn’t manufacture that change on my own — only God could transform my heart like that.
Second, before I was baptized 7 years ago, I was caught in a cycle of wrong relationships and adultery. It brought me deep shame, but back then, driven by intense loneliness, I simply couldn’t stop. I used to switch partners every year or two.
Yet ever since my baptism 7 years ago, that cycle completely ended, and I haven’t fallen back into those old ways.
Anyone who has been in that trap knows you can’t break it in your own strength—God truly made me a new creation.
