It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. “
that is a great teaching worthy every catholic christian to carefully reflect on.
Even one is taking his sacraments(flesh) as bread, but not reading his words and practice his words, the flesh profiteth nothing!
I have witnessed a lot of catholic christians go to mass often , reciting rosaries often, in such a mechanical way , as if a robot … i was there before … appearing to work so hard but not reading bible , not understanding his words …
we need to reflect carefully on “the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, “, the words Jesus speak unto us, is the true sacrament ! not that wafer or any bread or even anything you belive turning into Jeus’ body and blood
